Butterfree is such a douche, the Sanjaya of pokemon, if you will. No matter how terrible he is, everyone just keeps on voting for him, either because they feel bad for him and see a little of themselves in butterfree, or they keep on voting out of irony. If butterfree was on So You Think You Can Dance, it wouldn't be any different. Look at his sloppy form and poor extension. Yet somehow he'd make it through on simpering personality and pity alone.
Also, he's really, really nice. Have you ever met him? He'll be the first to tell you you're FABULOUS, or YOU GO GIRL, and that's what makes it so, so hard to hate him. But I do. Fie on you butterfree, rot in toe-shoe hell.

Hey now. I happen to like Butterfree! ^^;

However, I wouldn't use him in, say, an online simulator like whatever the PokéManiacs at IGN's message boards would use. THEN he'd be like that Sanjaya guy from American Idol. :angered:

Still, Butterfree is a hell of a lot better than Beedrill. Beedrill's the WILLIAM HUNG of Pokémon! :ohnoes: :omg: :puke: :bleh: :sprint: Make of that what you will. :O

That's... ever so slightly frightening o.O But very well done, for all that. Wish I could pull of position and musculature like that ^^;

I, personally, think butterfree is a very good pokemon. Not out of pity. Perhaps because it has confusion, which pwns early in the games...

I tend to spend a lot of time justifying the things I do, so it's a force of habit...heh heh.
